Practice Coordinator

Compensation: DOE
Employment Type: 32-40 hrs/week

Busy Chiropractic and Functional Medicine clinic in Prineville has an immediate opening for our Practice Coordinator.

The Practice Coordinator is a complex position which requires a diverse skill set. Duties include answering multi-line phones, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, checking patients in and out, managing physician schedules, inventory management, overseeing occasional evening classes, managing patient accounts, insurance billing, administrative tasks, patient communication, etc.

Please note that we are seeking a candidate who wants a long-term career in the healthcare field. Due to the extensive training required for this position, we cannot consider candidates who are looking for a temporary or short-term position.

  • Proficiency in MS Office required; some electronic medical record software experience preferred. Typing speed 70+ wpm and 10-key by touch required.

Duties include

  • Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, patient follow-up and other communications
  • Check patients in and out of the clinic
  • Manage patient communication, patient accounts
  • Schedule appointments
  • Insurance verification
  • Manage physician/provider schedules
  • Work evening classes (approximately 8 classes/year, plus weekly evening classes during January)
  • Primary team member responsible for all front office operations as well as administrative tasks for the clinic
  • Manage large nutraceutical inventory, including filling patient orders, placing orders with supplements companies
